James graduated from the John Bolton Theatre School in 1996. He then co-founded the comedy physical theatre troupe The 4 Noels.The company devised and performed narrative musical comedy shows and were twice nominated for the Melbourne Comedy Festival’s Barry Award. James is also a solo theatre practitioner nominated for a Green Room award in 2007 for best solo production. James has worked with Back to Back Theatre, directing the company’s experimental theatre group Theatre of Speed. James has taught at Victoria University’s performance course and at the National Institute of Circus Arts. He is currently an associate artist at the Courthouse Arts Centre in Geelong. James is a founding member of Company13.
Fiona studied at the John Bolton Theatre School,1994-95. She is a musician, singer, songwriter, theatre maker, actor, and director. She is the recipient of the 2006 Green Room Award for Sound Design in Independent Theatre for music she wrote and performed in Haul Away. In 2011, Fiona released Restoration, her first original album with the support of an Arts Victoria Arts Development Creation Grant. She holds a Diploma of Theatre Studies (2011, Victoria University of Technology). She has completed two Arts Victoria, Artist in Schools Residencies (2009 and 2013) as a musician/theatre maker. She is composer/devisor with Inotrope and St Kilda Uniting Care Drop In Centre productions, Our Chalk Circle 2012 and Dante’s Workshop 2014. Fiona is a founding member of Company13 and has performed in all of their shows.
Christian completed the John Bolton Theatre School in 1997.He is excited by the vision and aesthetic of Company13 which draws on the physical styles of theatre developed by Jacques Lecoq, and which were taught at the John Bolton Theatre School. He is now a physical performer, clown, improviser and puppeteer. In addition to working with Company13 he is also involved theatrically with Make a Scene, Spindly Figures, and Polyglot Theatre. He has been a member of Company13 for the past 7 years and loves it.

John studied at the John Bolton Theatre School, Melbourne 1995-96. Along with James Pratt and Jesse Griffin he formed The 4 Noels. From1997-2006 the 4 Noels performed all over Australia, in New Zealand, Edinburgh, and Singapore with their unique physical musical comedies. The 4Noels received many awards including, a Moosehead, a Barry nomination, Best Comedy at the Melbourne Fringe, Best Comedy at the Wellington International Fringe Festival, and Spirit of the Festival Award at the Edinburgh Fringe. John is a founding member of Company 13 and has performed in all of their shows.
Aurora completed the two-year full time course in theatre making at The John Bolton Theatre School in 1996. She is an established singer and award-winning theatre maker, comedian, actor, and MC. She has most recently appeared as a guest artist in Finucane & Smith’s – Caravan Burlesque. In 2010 Aurora completed the Solo Artist-in-Residence Program at Victoria University (VU), Melbourne. In 2002, she received her Advanced Diploma in Performing Arts – Acting, from The Actors Centre Australia, Sydney. She has been a member of Company 13 since its inception.
